Chinese street artist, Robbbb, is currently entertaining the city traffic in Turkey and Dubai. First, what seems like a cheeky, thin amalgam of Bansky rip-offs, at times tainted with some Warhol and JR (see a previous post), his series of Chinese wall figures does have some kind of magnetism to it, especially with their colours and authentic expressions. I see these people in 3D on a daily basis, the cleaning lady in the orange overall who never forgets to smile a good morning in my building, the bare-foot teenage girl sitting on a curb or mother with daughter hand in hand at a market.
Robbbb, whatever you works in the expression of, I love it already.
